IMPORTANCE OF ARTERIAL HEALTH
Every adult over age 40 is at risk for arterial disease according to the World Health Organization and needs to become interested in how to prevent and reverse heart and stroke disease and risks.
Heart disease claims the lives of about 1 million Americans every year, making it the leading cause of death for both men and women and very important for those living The Best Ketogenic Diet Plan For Beginners or otherwise to know how to reverse heart disease.
The lucrative heart bypass industry is the medical industry’s biggest cash cow.
Stroke is the third leading cause of death in the United States.
More than 140,000 people die each year from stroke in the United States.
Some 20 million strokes occur each year.
Thus, it is of critical importance for one to prevent and reverse heart and stroke disease.
Arterial health is essential in maintaining optimum health and preventing heart and stroke occurrences.
Arteries carry oxygen and nutrients to one’s body.
They are needed to sustain life and promote the health of all the body’s tissues.
ROLE OF ARTERIES IN ONE’S BLOOD VESSEL SYSTEM
The human body has about 64,000 miles of blood vessels comprised of arteries, capillaries, and veins at child hood, growing to 100,000 miles at adulthood.
One’s blood vessels are divided into three general types:
Arteries deliver the oxygen-rich blood which is pumped from the heart to the capillaries,
There are thousands of arteries in the human body ranging in size.
The biggest artery is the Aorta which is located at the top of the heart.
They carry a million barrels of blood in a lifetime.
The blood in one’s body is continuously flowing.
Every day, one’s heart pumps about 1,800 gallons of blood.
Capillaries are where the actual exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide occurs.
Capillaries connect from the arteries to veins.
The capillaries then deliver the waste-rich blood to the veins.
Venous blood is deoxygenated blood being returned to the heart for oxygenation which travels from the peripheral vessels, through the venous system into the right atrium of the heart, to be pumped to the lungs for oxygenation before being returned to the heart.
ARTERIAL DISEASE EXPLAINED
Simplistically, one can think of one’s arteries as clogging up similar to water pipes. And, they need to be cleaned out.
Serious conditions can affect all types of blood vessels. Most people are aware of health conditions that plague larger blood vessels, called atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries). It is a buildup of plaque inside the arterial walls.
Arterial damage can start early.
Blood vessels undergo changes with age and time, but damage can start early, even during childhood,
Essentially, atherosclerosis or its sister disease arteriosclerosis, (the two terms are often used interchangeably) involve the migration of disease-causing elements into the arterial wall resulting in a loss of elasticity and a decrease in the diameter of the vessel lumen (blood-carrying channel).
Otherwise, a very serious painful triple bypass operation or worse will be necessary.
ARTERIAL DISEASE ROLE IN HEART ATTACKS
One’s heart takes the best most highly oxygenated blood first as it pumps blood to the rest of one’s body.
However, the heart does not have good collateral circulation. Collateral circulation is the ability to have circulation around a blocked blood vessel.
Without collateral circulation, as its arteries become blocked by disease, the heart becomes starved for good blood thus resulting in either angina ( heart pain) and/or then a heart attack.
Note: the first sign of heart trouble is often sudden death.
ARTERIAL DISEASE ROLE IN STROKES
As blood is pumped to the brain and through arterial disease the brain tissue becomes starved of blood and a stroke occurs which can either damage the brain temporally or permanently and/or lead to sudden death.
Rupture of plaque in a carotid artery, in the neck, can result in a solid particle of plaque or a blood clot being dislodged from the carotid wall and traveling downstream until it lodges in and blocks a smaller artery in the brain. Deprived of blood, the involved portion of the brain dies which is known as a stroke and is often fatal.
MAINTAINING HEALTHY ARTERIES
Maintaining healthy arteries is very important for one’s Health and Longevity.
Some of the ways to help slow the progression of artery disease are:
–Maintaining a healthy weight, which by clicking on one can review its importance. Over 62% of Americans are overweight or worse. Sedentary lifestyles prevail as does the incidence of type II diabetes, which increases the rate of atherosclerosis, and therefore, heart attacks and strokes, which are now skyrocketing. It is now estimated that 1 in 3 Americans will develop diabetes.
-Avoid an unhealthy diet including unhealthy fats, GMO, and animals fed hormones and antibiotics
-Practice Regular exercise
-Limit alcohol, it is a toxin and the body perceives it as a carbohydrate
-Do not smoke
-Manage stress, and include meditation and prayer,
-Meditation, please visit Ziva Meditation for valuable Meditation Guidance and Get Free book.
-Prevent and manage diabetes, as diabetics have up to four times the atherosclerotic risk as non-diabetics
-Get a great night’s sleep. This is critical for health and one’s arteries. Note that one major sleep problem is Sleep Apnea which causes people to briefly stop breathing many times during their sleep, and it is often associated with obesity as the cause. Sleep apnea, which interrupts one’s breathing while asleep, puts a big strain on one’s cardiovascular system. The product of choice that one should buy and for a complete uninterrupted peaceful night sleep is a CPAP machine with humidifier, which comes with all the necessary and important accessories and provides one with the very important humidity option that prevents dryness.
-Maintain normal Blood Pressure (view Post on). Note that the Joint National Committee 8 latest Guidelines for the Management of Hypertension in Adults in the general population, is that pharmacologic treatment should be initiated when blood pressure is 150/90 mm Hg or higher in adults 60 years and older, and 140/90 mm Hg or higher in adults younger than 60 years. Note that high Blood pressure is a symptom from an underlying cause. So, one should treat the cause and not the symptom. And, those taking blood pressure medications experience a 30% increase in strokes. This is presumably because the body wants and needs a higher blood pressure. So one’s body causes the arteries to narrow in an effort to maintain and fight the blood pressure medicine and to achieve its desired higher blood pressure. Narrowing of the arteries thus increases the chance for a stroke as well as heart attack.

-Follow Linus Pauling ’s prophylactic recommendations below for reversing arterial disease.
LINUS PAULING, REVERSING ARTERIAL DISEASE
Reversing arterial disease is key to preventing heart attacks and strokes.
Linus Carl Pauling (1901 – 1994) was an American theoretical physical chemist who became the only person to have won two unshared Nobel Prizes.
He published more than 1,200 papers and books, of which are about 850 pages that dealt with scientific topics.
New Scientist called him one of the 20 greatest scientists of all time, and as of 2000, he was rated the 16th most important scientist in history.
Also, Pauling was one of the founders of the fields of quantum chemistry and molecular biology.
Shortly, before his death age 91, he discovered and released information that a combination of Vitamin C plus L-Lysine in certain ratios would not only prevent but reverse arterial disease which leads to heart attacks and strokes.
Linus Pauling uncovered and explained the complicated chemical reactions that can occur which clean and keep the arteries healthy.
Unless, one is interested and a chemist, all that one needs to know is that his discovery works.
It reverses artery disease.
It reverses heart attack and stroke risks.
He discovered that a combination of Vitamin C and L-lysine would reverse hardening of the arteries which is caused by the buildup of plaque inside the arterial walls.
Linus Pauling’s outstanding recommended formulae are twofold:
–1. For a prophylactic dose to help maintain healthy arteries if not at risk, take 3,000 mg of Vitamin C and 1,000 mg of Lysine per day.
-2. For known artery disease, which is often evidenced by angina and/or if one is at risk, take 6,000 mg of Vitamin C and 2,000 mg of Lysine per day.
Yes, I want Vitamin C and Lysine to reverse my arterial disease, chance or heart attack and stroke, then these two health and longevity enhancing supplements that one should grab are very cost effective vs one having to deal with a life-threatening heart attack or stroke and the personal cost related thereto.

Although this longevity information regarding how to prevent and reverse heart and stroke disease has been publicly available prior to 1994, the medical community has failed to embrace such a simple technology that would help reverse heart and stroke disease and risks.
Such would prevent and reverse much of the artery disease causes being treated today, as well as heart and stroke occurrences.
Thus, Pauling has delivered to the world a huge personal medical cost reduction with his life-saving formulae for one’s health and longevity whether enjoying The Ketogenic Life Style or otherwise.
